Fly On The Wall Press is very proud to be awarded Small Press of the Year For North England in the British Book Awards 2023.
Fly On The Wall is a one-woman dynamo of a publishing enterprise, established in February 2018 by Isabelle Kenyon. Now at the ripe old age of 27, Isabelle and Fly on the Wall Press are described thus by The Bookseller:
“Its endlessly energetic founder Isabelle Kenyon achieved excellent media coverage for its bold publishing and put on around 30 events, including the popular Northern Publishers Fair… Its revenue has grown by a third in 2023, further raising funds for charity partners.”
This award is affirmation of the incredible trajectory of this independent Manchester press, and of the drive and ambition of its MD, Isabelle: publishing unparalleled political fiction, evocative poetry and genre-defying anthologies addressing urgent global concerns; offering a platform to new and exciting authors, as well as established writers; working collaboratively with publishers and writers across the North.
