Fly on the Wall Press Acquires Tracy Fahey’s Women Changing, a Fierce Reimagining of Menopause, Myth and Female Rage

Fly on the Wall Press is delighted to announce the acquisition of ‘Women Changing’, the next sharply humorous short story collection by award-winning Irish writer Tracy Fahey. World rights were acquired by Isabelle Kenyon, Managing Director of Fly on the Wall Press, direct from the author.

‘Women Changing’ is a collection of surreal, darkly comic short stories that centre on female midlife metamorphosis. Drawing on native female folklore, mythological figures, and fairy tale archetypes, Fahey rewrites traditional narratives through the lens of menopausal fury.

Positioned to appeal to readers of contemporary menopause literature as well as gothic and feminist retellings, ‘Women Changing’ will resonate with fans of writers such as Rachel Yoder, Joanna Harris, Miranda July, Sharon Blackie, and Angela Carter.

Fahey is the author of eight books including ‘I Spit Myself Out’, winner of the 2025 Rubery International Book Award and ‘They Shut Me Up’, shortlisted for the 2024 British Fantasy Award. Her forthcoming titles include ‘Queens of the Crone Age’ (2026, PS Publishing) and ‘Down We Go Together’ (2026, Back Shuck Books). Her short fiction has appeared in over sixty anthologies internationally, and she is the recipient of the Paul Cave Prize for Literature (2024).

Fahey is based in Ireland and lectures in Critical and Contextual Studies at Limerick School of Art and Design (TUS). An experienced speaker and festival guest, she has appeared at events including WorldCon (Dublin), CYMERA (Edinburgh), Fantasticon (Copenhagen), and the UK Ghost Story Festival.

‘Women Changing’ will be published on Monday 22nd of February 2027.

Hello folks, heating bills in the UK have been painful lately, so I started reading forums about insulation ideas that didn’t involve major renovations. That’s how I found https://www.tintfit.com/shop/energy-saving-insulation. I liked that the information sounded practical instead of trying too hard to sell something. I decided to try insulation film on the coldest windows in my flat and noticed the room stayed warmer overnight. Even my cat stopped sitting directly next to the radiator all day.

Exciting news for literary fiction! Fly on the Wall Press's acquisition of Tracy Fahey's "Women Changing" promises a fierce and fresh perspective on menopause through short stories. Fahey's award-winning writing, described as sharply humorous, is exactly the kind of voice needed to reimagine menopause narratives beyond medical myths and stigma. Literature has the power to transform how we understand life transitions, and this collection sounds like it will challenge stereotypes while celebrating women's experiences with wit and honesty. Looking forward to reading these stories when they're published.

Scrolling UK casino discussions online, pyramid spins was mentioned in threads about platforms that keep navigation simple. The focus wasn’t on wins, but on how layouts remain consistent during longer sessions. That kind of quiet observation made the thread feel authentic and relatable. It showed how design choices influence the overall mood of play, and the mention blended naturally into the wider conversation.

Great interview, but if I'm being honest felt more like 'why I'm still a Calvinist' than 'Christian'. I respect that Kristen's faith tradition is important to her, and she can obviously share to the level she feels comfortable with and no more, but this was a very intellectual conversation. winit casino  'd have appreciated hearing more about Kristen's personal faith in Jesus Himself and why that is not shaken despite the attacks she's endured.

I’ve seen a few mentions of Deloro Casino recently in UK gambling forums, mostly from players praising its clean layout and clear bonus terms. A friend from work who rarely recommends casinos told me to give their welcome deal a proper look. That’s when I landed on Deloro Casino – and found their first‑deposit offer: 100% up to £500 plus 100 free spins, with a fair 35x wagering and a £5 max bet while clearing the bonus. I deposited £20 using my debit card, and the funds were there instantly. The game lobby loaded fast on my phone, with a decent selection of slots and live tables. The first few spins were quiet, but then a bonus round on a…
